Chameleon Ukulele by Maya-Plisetskaya Chameleon Ukulele by Maya-Plisetskaya
I turned this ukulele into a chameleon!

The tongue goes from one extreme of the neck of the instrument to the other.

Hope you like it! :-)

whoooooa, this is the most brilliant customised instrument I've ever seen! First, it's a Ukulele (I love it's sound), second, it's a chameleon and it's an amazing idea, and very well done!

I'm really amazed! =D

Hello, I love your chameleon!! It looks really good. I'm trying to paint a chameleon too, and I really like the way you paint it. Can you give me some tips on how to paint it? Thank you very much!!

Hi! I'm really glad you like it! :D
The only tip I can give you is: be very patient! Paint each scale with care, and the overall effect will be worth it. And also, apply a dark layer of paint before painting the scales over it, that will give them more depth when the darker paint shows between the patches of green. Don't forget to tell me when you upload it, I want to see it! ;)

that is beautiful. What kind of paint did you use? Did it change the tone of the instrument?

Thanks! ^^
I used acrylic colours, and it sounds perfectly well. But its current owner doesn't take it out much in case it gets damaged... :-/
Even though it didn't seem to affect this ukulele, it is true that paint can ruin a wooden instrument, specially a delicate one... but I'm so eager to paint my violin!!! And I suck at it, so nobody would really notice the acoustic difference XD
